This camera also actually listens for the sounds of your life safety devices such as smoke detectors and CO2 detectors. If your Netatmo Smart Indoor Camera detects these sounds it will send you an instant alert.
So as you can see, the Netatmo has a number of features. We like the fact that the Netatmo Smart Indoor Camera can detect the sounds of your life safety devices. We also like the fact that it will not record on its own without a user’s permission. If there was one flaw we could find with this camera is that Netatmo does not really go into detail about the motion sensing technology for this camera. The Netatmo Smart Indoor Camera gives you a decent amount of features, but at a pretty hefty price tag. Design wise, it looks amazing. It also gets points for being totally battery operated, although that comes with its own drawbacks (such as having to recharge or replace batteries every now and then). Another caveat to the Netatmo camera is that it cannot be integrated with other devices and systems. In other words, if you’re into the whole home automation scene such as smart door locks and lights and smart security systems, the Netatmo will not interact with any of these devices. It is solely a stand alone security camera that works on its own platform and app.
